DEFI Jeu mechanical puzzles are fun for everyone but especially appeal to people
interested in math. Designed and crafted by mathematician Patrick Farvacque
these deluxe, high quality versatile wooden problems will provide hours of puzzle
solving fun. Many of them come with a booklet that challenges you to “solve” the
puzzle in many different ways.
Although these puzzles are not priced low, they are still a good value when their
high quality and versatility are considered. |

French  booklet that accompanies each DEFI Jeu puzzle.
Each puzzle comes with a solution and many include a problems booklet, also in French. The
diagrams provided serve as the puzzle solution in any language. All DEFI Jeu puzzles come
packed in a good quality cardboard box.

Patrick Farvacque, impassioned mathematics creator of internationally recognized
puzzles, designed and produced all the DEFI Jeu puzzles offered by Cleverwood. The logic
of their design and the very many problems suggested make them puzzles that you will play
with time and again, each time with an unceasingly renewed interest.
All the parts of DEFI Jeu puzzles are carefully cut from French hardwoods like
wild cherry, sycamore, and pear. The parts are then sandpapered, assembled and waxed using
time honored traditional woodworking techniques. All the puzzle parts feel good to the
touch. DEFI Jeu mechanical puzzles are of unmistakable high quality.

mathématiques créateur de casse-tête reconnu internationalement, a conçu et dessiné
tous les modèles présentes dans ce catalogue. La logique de leur conception, les très
nombreux problèmes proposés en font des casse-tête avec lesquels, nous le souhaitons,
vous aurez grand plaiser à jouer avec un intérêt sans cesse renouvelé.
• C’est dans un ateller drômois que DÉFIJEU les fabrique en bois massifs
nobles (noyer, merisier, sycomore, poirier …) vous assurant ainsi un agréable
maniement des pièces. Ils sont assemblés poncés et cirés dans le respect des
techniques artisanales, gaga de quallté que vous apprécierez certainment.
Les essences de bois utillisées sont précisées pour chaque modèle sachant que les
tourillons, sont en hêtre ainsi que la plupart des boules. Les couleurs de ces dernières
peuvent changer d’un exemplair a l’autre. |
