The
yosegi pattern on this difficult puzzle box is new in 2002. We named it Shiroasa-ran which
means "white asa pattern (on the sides) with a ran yosegi pattern (top and
bottom)."This box is made by master craftsman
Goto-san and bears his hanko mark on the inside of the lid.
At 38 moves this box is not easy to open. It has 4 split keys that operate in a
unusual pattern.
This box has a smooth working mechanism and comes with a color opening instruction
diagram.
Like all the
work of Izumiya studios, it has a superior finish. This puzzle box is stamped with the
Izumiya hanko and comes in a high quality pressboard gift box.
