2 Sun Cube Boxes

A new kind of Japanese Puzzle box is here - Puzzle Cubes. Each of these well made boxes features the high quality workmanship frequently seen in Japanese crafts. Each one is made from solid wood and all but are the newest is clad in yosegi.

The three sliding panels that make up the moves of these puzzles work very well - which makes getting inside them a cinch! Great for storing things you will need often (Paper clips, small post it notes, etc..)

Finally, a light finish lets the quality of the wood shine trough.

Ichimatsu 4 Move

This box is of a similar design as the 4 Move above but features the checkerboard yosegi know as Ichimatsu.

Some of the woods used in it's construction are Katsura (native to Japan) and Agachisu.

Koyosegi 7 Move

Natural Wood 4 Move

The newest cube box features solid wooden construction and a natural wood exterior. This type of Himitsu-Bako is known in Japan as "Muku", which means pure.

4 Different types of wood are used, the primary being the soft golden Keyaki. The three colored stripes, found on both the top and bottom, are dyed Hoo (Green), Mizuki (White), and Purple heart (Purple).
