Here’s a puzzle box that combines traditional workmanship with modern technology. These 12 move standard size (5 sun) boxes have a traditional hidden musical drawer but the contemporary little tune is played by electronic circuitry!
(“EMD” = electronic musical drawer.”) This new boxes come in four different yosegi patterns.

These high quality Japanese Puzzle Boxes are made by master craftsman Goto-san and bears his “hanko” mark on the inside of the lid. They have smooth working mechanisms and comes with a color opening instruction diagram. Like all the work of Izumiya studios, they have a superior finish. Please note: The electronic circuitry that plays the music is powered by a battery. Both the circuitry and the battery are built into the bottom of the box and are not accessible. When the battery runs out of power the music will not play any more. The battery cannot be changed for a new one.
